1-2-1 Pilates

If small group Pilates classes aren’t for you or you’d like more individual attention, we also offer 1-2-1 Pilates, for both mat and Reformer. These sessions are completely tailored to you and what you need and can be booked at a time that suits you.

Who are 1-2-1 Pilates for?

What does 1-2-1 Pilates involve?

All of our 1-2-1 Pilates sessions are clinical, taken by Physio’s or Rehab Therapists with specialist Pilates training.

You can book 1-2-1s on a day or time that suits you and the sessions will be completely tailored to you and your needs. It’s a great way to build up your ability and confidence in Pilates, and you can choose from mat or Reformer.

When would I choose 1-2-1 over a class?
It’s a personal choice. 1-2-1s can be a great way to get started with Pilates and to prepare you for joining classes, as you can build ability and confidence through individual attention.
Why do I need to have 1-2-1 Pilates before I start a class?
If you haven’t already seen us at goPhysio and want to join our studio classes, you will need to come and see one of our Pilates Instructors before you join a class. This is essential so we can screen you for any injuries or particularly weak areas, find out exactly what you want to achieve by coming to Pilates and teach you the basics before you start. This is commonplace for any Clinical Pilates classes. Mat Pilates will generally need just one 1-2-1, whereas if you’d like to join Reformer Pilates you will need at least three to four 1-2-1s so that you are safe and effective at using the equipment before joining a group environment.
